The year was 1971 and international adoptions from South Korea were increasing. According to KAS (Korea Adoption Services, an organization that assists adoptees with finding information about their birth families),  7,275 children were adopted overseas in the 1960’s and that number grew to 48,247 in the 1970’s.  “Dear Bill” is the story of a man embarking on a journey that would solve a mystery………. forty years in the making.

“Surrounded - Lightening the EDC Burden” (working title) is a feature length documentary delving into the effects of EDC’s (endocrine disrupting chemicals) that are unseen yet impact every life on our planet. Found in everyday household items, their possible effects on the human body are raising concerns in both the medical and scientific communities.

Mary Lou Williams was a jazz pianist who enjoyed fame, fortune and travel. Working with the likes of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and Cab Calloway brought her fulfillment , but her demons shadowed her life. This led to a mid-life conversion to Catholicism that brought more fulfillment than anything she had known.
