Mary Lou Williams was a jazz pianist who enjoyed fame, fortune and travel. Working with the likes of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and Cab Calloway brought her fulfillment , but her demons shadowed her life. This led to a mid-life conversion to Catholicism that brought more fulfillment than anything she had known.
